As is well known, the NEC (National Economics Challenge) is one of the most influential academic economics events for high school students — above all because top-tier academic challenges power applications to prestigious universities!
In December 2023, LWS students participated in the Regional Round of the 2023 NEC National Economics Challenge. In this fiercely competitive international contest, LWS students made a stunning debut and swept multiple heavyweight awards!In the end, all 15 students successfully advanced to the National Finals with outstanding results.
Notably, one LWS team of pre-high-school (preparatory grade) students also took part in the NEC. These 4 students were the youngest, had not studied AP, and were just beginning economics — yet they still achieved impressive results. Truly, the younger generation is formidable!
In December 2023, Living Word Shanghai students participated in the Regional Competion 2023 NEC (National Economics Challenge). In this fierce international competition, 15 students from Living Word Shanghai successfully advanced to the national finals with brilliant results.
